Hoboken, Georgia

Hoboken, Georgia that's where we were.
It is near Waycross, Georgia and not too far from the Florida border.
We arrived on Wednesday, set up camp, and made a quick dinner
then we crashed (meaning we chilled out...BIG TIME!)
We were so exhausted from everything it took to get there.
Slept well, and woke up the next morning to a field full of
Buses
These buses were from all over the SE United States.
Many of them we had seen before at other rallies, some were new to us.

They were new ones and old ones. Many had been converted by their owners.
This one was pretty old. It was originally owned by the Glenn Miller Band.
This one was an ultra-modern one

This one is ours (the Hamster Car came with us)

I put out a scarecrow

I took this picture for our son, the Guitar Player :0)
This park is actually a Blue Grass Park

This is Sammye playing the Dulcimer
There were several musicians who played on Saturday

Now this was really neat.
This was Saturday's breakfast and it's called Omlet in a Bag
You put your name on your bag
then you put in whatever you want in your omlet
then you get a ladle full of egg mixture

you seal the bag tight, and it goes in boiling water for like 10 minutes
This is what it looks like going into the boiling water
and this is what it looks like when it's all done
It was delicious!

Saturday, I had my very first Origami Owl Living Locket Presentation
I told the ladies about it and then invited them up to create their own.
They LOVED it!!! (I sold several!)

Saturday night we had a catered Italian dinner
I volunteered to help serve.
This was Chef Luigi singing a song
(he was actually one of the coordinators of the event)
The evening (in fact the whole rally) was a huge success!

Here are a few more things I really enjoyed...
meeting Tuxedo (a 13 year old Husky)
this flag I saw in front of one of the buses

and this piece of cotton straight off the bush.
I had never seen this up close before. Awesome!

and the Spumoni we had for dessert Saturday night...YUM!
