Oh my, I think I'm still tired from my trip.
In all fairness, if I would get to bed at a decent time that would help.
I've got to stop burning the midnight oil...
So today I had a list of things I needed to do, but nothing was falling into place.
Appointments got cancelled, I left the house later than planned,
had to deal with difficult people, got caught in the rain
and my throat hurts.
I stopped off and got some soup, brought some home for Mom, too.
Came home, put things away, did my pilates, took a bath
and now it's just 9:10 and I'm writing my blog.
That is a very good thing. After this I'm going to bed.
Here are more pictures from my trip
My Room
White Out Night
This designer brought her little baby
Me and my mentor Lori
In front of the Convention Center
This was the store
These are new products which will be available in the Fall
Each designer present went home with these
It was like on the Oprah Show
They would show us, everyone would gasp,
then they would say "...and everyone gets one!"
and then all the ladies would SCREAM!!!
New Bracelets coming out this Fall
I finally got a picture with Bella!!!
View of the City from the Convention Center
Walking back to the Sheraton
I loved the Banners along the street
Then a designer from Kentucky and I went on a 30 minute tour
of the city in a Pedi-Cab
This guy was peddling us. Pretty cool!
This pizza place is suppose to be famous.
You have to wait four hours to get in.
(We did not have time to go there)
My Mentor won an award for being one of the top ten sellers for the year!!!
The Night of the Gala Banquet
I forgot to have someone take a picture of me
so I took one myself.
This outfit was very special to me
because I wore it to my oldest son's wedding.
Morning I left. Waiting for the Shuttle to take me to the airport.
Plane that would take me to Houston
Inside the plane
I sat next to a very nice lady from Arizona.
I wish I would have caught a picture of her.
She was very attractive...short whitish-gray hair, NO MAKEUP
but tan and beautiful.
She and her husband were going to visit friends in Ecuador for 3 weeks.
She left her cell phone and computer behind.
I admired her so much.
This was my lunch during my four-hour layover.
It was delicious!
After two flights to get me to Phoenix and the one that began my journey back home
I decided I would not get sick and could eat this before I left.
The Houston Intl Airport has a tribute to Pres George Bush
I especially loved this picture.
It should his grandchildren welcoming him home.
And this one showed his dogs
This was pretty cool.
This was in the airport
(Took this pic for you, Mark)
I passed several of these in the Houston airport.
I wonder if heart attacks are a common occurrence when people are
running like crazy from one terminal to another to catch their flight???
I really did well on all four flights
as far as not being scared of flying (or crashing)
but I wasn't quite sure if I should be comforted or concerned
about the nun who sat across the aisle from me
reading her Bible with her Rosary wrapped around her wrist.
Interesting clouds as we neared FL
Almost looked like icebergs in water.
Not the best picture, but I had to take it myself
and the angle is always crazy that way.
We really were so happy to see each other!
I ran to him when I saw him.
