He Is Risen

Today is Easter Sunday
and for a Christian, it is one of the most important days EVER!
I believe that Christ was and is the Son of God
who came to Earth in the form of a man, a baby actually.
He died for our (my) sins so that I could be reunited with the Father (God)
for all eternity.
That's why we celebrate!

So the last time I wrote it was a sad day for me,
and since that day my husband and I have been super busy
trying to get ready to take a vacation.
We've actually been preparing for several weeks.
Lord-willing, we'll be taking a whole week off
and we're suppose to leave tomorrow.
That's a BIG thing for us to be gone that long because of our business
but we're pretty sure we've covered all the bases
and we are really looking forward to a whole week away.

Of course, it's always hard to leave behind momma
and our kids and grandkids,
but we place them in the Father's hands
and we pray for HIS protection over us as well.
I'm also hoping and praying to come back refreshed and rested.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to write or not while I'm gone,
but I will if I'm able.
Until we meet up again...

Sad Day

Today was a sad day :0(
Six years ago today, my nephew, only 40 years old
went to be with Jesus.
He was a dear, sweet soul, and we all miss him very much.
Since he's been gone, one of his son's has gotten married
and David would have been a grandpa to a beautiful baby girl.

Then tonight, we went to the memorial service for a former pastor of ours
Pastor Shane
In between the sadness and the deaths...life goes on somehow
but I am looking forward to a beautiful reunion one day.

Triple Dose of Love

Today my day was filled to the brim with love.
It came delivered in small packages...munchkin size.
The day started out with Master Ethan
who spent the better part of the day with Grandma Dee
while his mommy and daddy were working;
and then shortly after he went home
two lovely ladies came over
Miss Hannah & Miss Sarah
while their mommy and daddy had a special dinner date.
Today was a triple whammy of l♥ve!!!
I am so incredibly blessed!!!
Thank you Jesus :0)

YAY for the Weekend

Saturday I ran a few errands, made a delivery,
went shopping for some new clothes  (which I rarely do anymore).
Found a cute summer skirt, a cool white top, and a dress
for an event I hope to go to in a couple months.
The event is for my new business and just happens to be in Arizona.
You heard me right, AZ, and I've never been there before
so if it all continues to come together, it will be quite an adventure for me.

Sunday was church (I L♥VE church)
and these are some of the munchkins we saw there

We stopped by Dunkin Donuts on the way home
and these two were getting acquainted :0)

A Day With the Girls

Spent most of the afternoon with my granddaughters today.
SO wish I would have been able to snap more pictures
but the memories are in my heart.
Sarah was pretty ok with her mama being gone.
She arrived, ate lunch, and then fell asleep in my arms
listening to a worship CD with a lot of percussion.
I bet she thought she was listening to her daddy playing.

I helped Hannah with some homework and we did a science project together
then we went outside so she could ride her scooter
and she made a new friend...Sky, who is six years old.
She was visiting her grandparents
and had her scooter, too, so both girls had a great time
while I pushed Sarah in the stroller.

These are the only two pictures I managed to get

I sure do love these little girls!

Highlights of Our Day

Here are some highlights of our day today...

He totally knows what lurks behind those doors, ha ha
He likes to watch music videos on the computer
and he likes when we dance with him
Papa got to feed Ethan Breakfast today
then they went upstairs for some music lessons

Playtime
"What does the lion say?"
This was Ethan playing with the same Fisher Price Circus Animals Train Set
that his daddy and Uncle played with when they were little...

Such a lovely day!

Spreading Wings

This morning my husband and I got to see a beautiful Bald Eagle
across the street on our neighbor's rooftop.
Wish we could have caught a picture...he was so beautiful and SO BIG!

Mom had a doctor appointment today and afterward
we met my daughter-in-law's mother and grandmother for lunch.
It was a special treat to get to visit with them.
And you may not believe this,
but these ladies are also kin to my other daughter-in-law -
they are her aunt and grandmother.
My daughters-in-law are cousins, and they grew up together.
I think that's kind of neat :0)
and even better, they both love and serve the Lord.
And to make it even sweeter - their fathers are both pastors.

After lunch Mom and I returned home and I did a few things
and then prepared for tonight...
I was helping one of the girls on my team launch her business
by having her first Jewelry Bar
She had a lovely display and a very successful party.
It was so much fun helping her spread her wings.
The ladies who came out were all so very nice.
It was a lovely evening, and it felt so good to help my gal out.

The next few days will be fun and packed with love
tomorrow Ethan will be here
and Friday, Hannah and Sarah are paying me a visit.
YAY!!!!

Crazy Weird Day

Don't have any pictures for today just some crazy details.
The day started out ok - had to go to the accountant's to pick up some papers.
Ran to the grocery store, then back home.
Put food away, took stuff over to mom's,
spilled cranberry juice all over her kitchen (don't ask)
THAT was fun....NOT!
Then went to sit with Ethan (but he napped the whole time)
so his daddy could take Rufus to the vet's.
Rufus had a boo boo on his eye :0(
Ran to the bank; then ran to get another document for our business.
Delivered a locket on my way home.
Drove past Milli's vet so decided to stop in to pick up some doggy meds for her.
That was the heartbreaking part of the day...
there was a beautiful yellow lab there with his family -
his WHOLE family (I should have known).
As I went to pay for Milli's meds I noticed a familiar book at the counter
that the Lab's mommy was looking through.
It was from the Pet Cremation Place,
then I noticed the lady's eyes...they were welling up with tears
then I realized the whole family that was there was very, very sad.
Then I started crying too.
I whispered "I'm so sorry" to the grown son (my son's age)
as he held this dog's leash...
and I ran out of there as fast as I could before the tears really started to flow.
This was going to be a very hard day/night for this family.
I came home, hugged Milli, let her out to go potty
and tried to pull myself together to finish out the night.
Dear Lord, please help comfort this family tonight and in the days to come.

Happy Happy Joy Joy

I think I may have used this title before
but I really am happy because I finally feel like I'm catching up
with so many things, and that makes me really happy.

Yesterday we went to church and saw these little bambinos
Sarah was clinging tightly to her mama
and Ethan was getting into my purse :0)
Hannah was in Children's Church when I took these pics
but we got our hugs from her before she went there.

After church Manny & I went to Panera's for lunch
Manny is looking tired in this picture.
He's been working extra hard lately, too.

When we got home, Manny went to work on our bus for a little while
and guess what I did?
I went and curled up on my bed with a blanket, put on Touched by an Angel on TV
and rested for a couple of hours...
OH it felt wonderful!

When I got up, I did a few things I needed to do on the computer.
When Manny came home we had dinner, I cleaned the kitchen and got my bath.
I LOVE SUNDAYS!

Today, I got caught up on several more things around here
and I posted some pics of my lockets and their meaning
and how I got started in my new business.
I'll share that with you here:

I am now with Origami Owl because I was looking for a necklace to represent my grandchildren
back in August of 2012 and stumbled upon a FB post from a sweet gal who is now my mentor.
Not only did I fall in love with these lockets, I realized it was something I wanted to share with others.

So here is my locket: the 3 heart charms are for my granchildren - Hannah (Nov) Ethan (Dec) , and Sarah (May); the Oct Round is for my oldest son Manuel, the Feb Round is for my younger son Mark; the Sept Round is for my husband and my bdays, the Cross is for my Faith in Christ, and the Dog Paw is for my Milli.
The "Blessed" plate sums it up pretty well :0

But of course, I couldn't stop there, lol, so I created more...
I made one to represent my husband and me - we've been married for 36 years.
I just loved that wedding ring charm :0) and he always brought me daisies when we were dating.
Had to get a cross in there, too, because God holds us together.

I will often wear both lockets to shows and the women just love them, because they are different (1 Lg Silver and 1 Med Silver w/Crystals) and they are on different chains at different lengths. One w/plate and one without.

And I just recently put this together and wear it different ways,
The TAGS are becoming so popular, and so I created this for Hannah, Ethan, and Sarah

If you would have told me a year ago that I would be doing this, I would have told you you were crazy!
I am enjoying this opportunity so very much and am so grateful for the wonderful ladies God has brought into my life. I have a wonderful mentor (Lori) and am now growing a team with the most amazing ladies.
Together we can really soar ladies. Nothing is impossible (especially with God). Dream Big!

Good Day

Today was uneventful. That can be a GOOD thing!
Day two of my Jewelry Bar went very well...
then I attended a baby shower for a dear friend of mine
who's daughter is having a baby boy soon.
Stopped by the grocery store on the way home.
Got home, let Milli out, unpacked the car, put things away.
Make ice tea for my hubby (who made it home safely, btw).
Getting ready to get a shower and crash!
I'm tired!
SO HAPPY tomorrow is Sunday!
I love Sundays!!! Church and Rest. Thank you, LORD!

Time Management

I'm wondering if I'll ever get back to posting daily.
It's been a few days again.
I've come to realize I need serious help in managing my time.

I had Ethan yesterday and this was naptime
Most of his waking hours are consumed with eating and playing.
He has plenty of toys but prefers to play with the bowls in the cupboards

Today my hubby left for Miami to visit his mom.
She is doing better but he's trying hard not to let too much time go by
in between visits... and well, you know how life it.

I had two Jewelry Bars scheduled for this weekend -
one today and one tomorrow...both days at the same Salon in town.
Day one went very well.

I'll let you know how tomorrow goes.
I really enjoy doing this. It's lots of fun and I get to meet interesting people.
I just got off the phone with one of the girls on my team.
She called me on her way home after a show she did tonight.
She's a very sweet person, a fellow Christian, too!
I am amazed at how God has brought all this together.
If you would have told me a year ago that I would be doing this

I would have told you you were crazy.

Hello World

Hello World...
I was going to go back and manually enter the dates of my posts
in my attempts to catch up but I thought...NO, I need to be honest about my life
and in all honesty, I have just not had one extra minute to post on my blog.
So today I will catch up...
Last Friday evening we attended Praise in the Park
which is a monthly event held each month at Central Park Downtown.
The above pic was taken a while back for Breast Cancer Awareness
that's why the fountain was pink.

So for this event, each month a different church worship team
performs for the community and the community, in return,
brings in food for the local Mission

We were able to watch Ethan because his parents were bringing the Youth from our church, and we were also able to bring Hannah.
We took them both to dinner before the concert.

Ethan LOVES to eat (but then, so do I) !!!

Then we went to the concert

Hannah was standing on Papa's knees taking a video

Here is our precious Hannah looking so grown up

When the concert was over we took Hannah and Ethan home.
When Ethan's parents got back from dropping the Youth Group off at church
they showed me his little drum set in daddy's music room
I believe this was his daddy's first set.
Ethan loves to play the drums and the guitar with his daddy.

Saturday I had a Jewelry Bar Party
This is what my table display is looking like these days

I love watching the ladies gather around the table as they pick out their charms
This mom (on the Right) was helping her daughter (on the left) pick out charms
in honor of the daughter's 21st birthday coming up April 1st.

It was a lovely afternoon.
I enjoy meeting the ladies and hearing their stories as they create their living lockets.

Sunday was church, a few errands and then some rest (but not enough rest).

Monday mom and I went out to lunch at Panera Bread
and then we went to get pedicures (it had been a while)
and then we went to STARBUCKS...YAY!!!

Today - Monday  I spent 3 hours like this

I had to have a new crown put in.
Several hours later I could feel my face again :0)

And that my friends should get you caught up in the Life of Me :0)
