Hump Day (Again)

The days pass by so quickly anymore.
I finished entering another month's worth of invoices
and I ran a few errands and delivered a locket.
I've also been working on some projects for my business.
Tomorrow Ethan will be here.
Friday I have a Jewelry Bar scheduled
and Saturday a Team Meeting with some of my girls.
I've added some images to my blog
did you notice them?
Not sure why I didn't think to do it before.

Here's a new picture that my sister sent me of her precious granddaughter.
She's wearing an outfit I had gotten her
Isn't she a doll baby!

I've been missing Milli real bad lately.
I see her everywhere again and sometimes I think I can hear her sneezing in another room.
There will never be another Milli.
She was so special to me.

Time for bed now...
Good night!

Another Productive Day

Today was another productive day...YES!!!!
I am so thankful the Lord is allowing me to get caught up.
I didn't sleep that well last night though...had weird dreams.
And today, I probably made a bad choice of programs to listen to
while I was entering figures on the computer spreadsheet.
I watched (or rather listened) to episode after episode of the

I use to love watching those episodes when I was young.
Guess I'd better prepare for some more weird dreams tonight.

YEP, Today Was Definitely a Monday

So today was definitely a Monday
but Mom and I were in denial for a while.
We went to get pedicures :0)
My husband, on the other hand, had one of those days.
Poor guy.
One day, hopefully soon, he won't have to deal with crazy jobs anymore.
If my new business continues to grow and bloom
he'll be able to say goodbye to those and we'll take to the road
and see places we've never seen before.
We dream about that, and in God's time, it's gonna happen.

My sister sent me this picture today
of her precious little granddaughter, Maddy.
YES, now she KNOWS what I've been talking about
Grandchildren take L♥VE to a whole new level.
Nothing in the world quite like this kind of love.
Lord, thank you for the Blessing of Grandchildren!!!
Maddy, you are a little DOLL and you are loved!!!

Wedding Bells

Today we went to the wedding of a beautiful young couple.
We have known the bride since she was about 7
that's Hannah's age.
Our families attended the same church
and our children grew up together.
It's hard to believe so many years have gone by and now she's married
and will be starting a new life with her husband.
We wish them every happiness!
God Bless you Adrian and Tim

A Lovely Day

My days have been much calmer and I am so enjoying that.
I seem to be sleeping better, and getting more done during the day.
Today I baked a cake and some cupcakes for my momma.
Looking in my cupboard I found these adorable papers for little cakes
I would say the French equivalent to our cupcake liners, but SO much prettier.

I think I stumbled upon them at a nearby Marshalls store.
I've had them for a while and today was the perfect time to use them.
Look at the adorable little cakes you bake in them
Then of course I had to frost them

So, we ended up taking mom out to dinner.
She wanted to go to Fred's.
She didn't eat too much (she never does) but they had a nice variety.
I think she enjoyed it.
My kids and grandkids decided to join us
and I managed to catch a couple of pictures

Manuel wasn't feeling real well.
Hannah is usually always happy.
Sarah's is finally realizing that somehow we belong
 Hannah loves Grandma Helen

Getting family photos with my handsome oldest son
is almost like pulling teeth without novacane.
Here's a quick shot with Ethan before we got momma home.

Today was a very nice day.
And look...my sweet Kia Soul now has some personalilty
Do you see it?
That's the official logo for my company

Happy Birthday Mother

Today my mother celebrated her 87th Birthday.
How awesome is that!!!!
We decided since most were working today
and I had Ethan
we'll take Mama out to eat tomorrow.
I think she's looking forward to that.
But today Ethan and I payed her a visit
She got some loving from him
and of course Buttons was there, too.

I washed her hair and changed her sheets, and brought over some soup for dinner.
Tomorrow she'll get more dolled up and we'll take more pictures.
She heard from family members calling to wish her a happy birthday
and she got lots of "Happy Birthdays" on Facebook.
I think Facebook is wonderful for keeping people in touch with each other!
Back at my house this was my day

You can see that Ethan had a rather busy day!
Consequently, I did too, ha ha.
This was a picture of his daddy (and Uncle Manuel)
Here it is resting on TOP of the toilet seat (thank the LORD the lid was closed).

He pulled this hat out of his diaper bag and put it on all by himself.
He's such a doll and Grandma Dee loves him so much!!!

After his many adventures this morning, he tired himself out and slept for two hours!
I rested right along with him.
The rest of the afternoon passed very quickly.

So tomorrow is Friday. Another week has just about passed.
Looking forward to spending more time with my beautiful mama though...
Here are some pictures to reflect on from years gone by...

Grocery Shopping...YAY!

Had another productive day with the bookkeeping yesterday
and when I finally crawled into bed I slept like a baby.
I don't think I moved all night long.
Woke up refreshed, got dressed, did some laundry
then headed out to make some deliveries and do some grocery shopping.
I had not been to the grocery store in a while.
Picked up some things for mama, too.
Got home, unloaded the car, put things away, and started dinner.
Had dinner ready when Manny got home,
and now it's still a decent hour and the kitchen is already clean...
Hallelujah!!!

Tomorrow is a very special day
it's my mama's birthday
Her 87th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Mom, I sure do love you!
We'll have Ethan tomorrow, too.

Gonna head upstairs now to do my Pilates,
then get my bath
then catch a movie with my honey.

Goodnight!

More Progress

Hallelujah!
Today was another long, but productive day and I am SO thankful!
I am making headway with the bookkeeping and that is taking a load off of me.
I'm still not feeling that great, but I haven't had to go anywhere
and my days have been relatively quiet
so I've been able to focus and get a lot done!
I'm listening to a Webinar as I type this.
They just posted some motivational points we should keep in mind
as we build our business.
I think these are pretty neat

I really need to get to bed at a decent time so I'll keep this short.
Have a good night!

Productive Monday...Hallelujah!!!

I got SOOOO much done on our books today!
Hallelujah!
Hope I can keep this momentum going all week long.

Last night we had dinner with some very dear friends
celebrating her birthday

We ate at a Japanese Steakhouse where they cook in front of you

That was pretty cool.

and this is their son, Matt, who served two terms in Afghanistan.

In fact, he was recently acknowledged at the their town's
Forth of July Celebration for his service to our nation.

This was us last night.

And I found this picture on Manny's phone.
He took this picture as I said goodbye to him when I was checking into Security
to board my flight to Houston.
He said it gave him a very strange feeling to say goodbye.

Day of Rest

I am still trying to catch up on my sleep,
and now it seems I've dealing with a summer cold.
But we did go to church this morning and saw our children and grandchildren.
The service was wonderful and the message was awesome!
Pastor preached on how much God loves us
and not because of what we do or don't do...
HE JUST LOVES US!!!
We read from the Book of Romans Chapter 8:31-39

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That my friends, is powerful!!!

So now we are home, I fixed us some brunch and Manny is now outside mowing the lawn.
I've cleaned the kitchen, am posting on my Blog
and then I'm going to go lie down.
But I wanted to add a couple pictures I found on my phone from a few days ago.
We met a sweet cousin who was visiting from out of town.
Tabatha is a cousin to both my d-i-laws.

Here is Sweet Sarah (I think she is finally getting use to me)

Here is mama with Sarah

The next two are Sarah and Ethan playing

Birthdays and Friends

Today was a nice, quiet day.
I didn't get out of bed until almost 9:30.
It felt wonderful to sleep in.
Manny went to work on our bus
and I did some things around here.
Sent out some invitations for a Team Meeting I'm having in a few weeks
for the girls on my Team.
Got caught up on some other things, too,
but was able to work at a slow and quiet pace.

Tonight we went to a surprise birthday party for one of our dear friends.
We've known her and her family for many years.
Went to the same church together - our kids grew up together.
This woman LOVES her family and her God.
and her laughter can fill a room no matter how big the crowd.
We love you Cindy and we wish you many, MANY more happy birthdays!!!

Tomorrow night we celebrate another friend's birthday :0)
