A Baby Girl

Today we drove to see family about 2 hours away.

We were celebrating a happy event...A Baby Shower.

Sam and Corey are expecting their first child...a baby girl.

Corey's father was my nephew.

He's in Heaven now, but if he were here, 

he would be awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild.

As we drove the beautiful country roads to Ocala

 I was thinking about my nephew (David) and how excited he would be if he were here.

His sister told me that he would have been SO HAPPY about it being a little girl!

The shower was just beautiful! 

Sam was a radiant mother-to-be and she and Corey 

were blessed with many wonderful things for their baby.

The food table was lovely, as well, and delicious :0)

 This bench was just outside the front door of the home that hosted the shower

(and I just loved it!)

And this was a charming house we passed today (I just had to snap a picture)

We wish Sam and Corey every happiness with the blessing that awaits them.

A baby is such a blessing from God ♥
