Happy Birthday Hannah

Today is our sweet Hannah's 7th Birthday

and let me tell you how much God cares about the details of our lives...

I was so worried that maybe we wouldn't get to see her today

but not only did we get to see her - we got to see her first thing this morning!
That's because she came to Miami yesterday with her mommy, daddy, and  baby sister

to visit Mima in the hospital, so we got to spend a good part of yesterday with her, too.

I showed Hannah where the famous Never Ending Coffee Machine was
in a near-by larger waiting room.
This machine gave you Cappuccinos, Hot Chocolate, Regular Coffee and hot water for tea for FREE.

Hannah thought that was pretty neat (she's sipping hot chocolate).

Our family hung out in this waiting room most of the week 
as family members came in from out of town.

The cousins visited, did homework,

and played games

Family kept coming and going.

Some of us went out to dinner at a favorite Cuban restaurant.

It was a treat because the hospital food was horrible :0(

SO, today, on Hannah's birthday...we got to spend the entire morning together, 
ate breakfast together, and then we headed to the hospital

but before we did - we stopped at the local bakery and picked up 5 dozen mini cupcakes

because we had a birthday to celebrate.

We bought candles and a "Birthday" banner, and also some party napkins.

Everyone here for Mima was going to get a cupcake and share in the fun

there was only one request:

if you got a cupcake you had to sing to Hannah and she loved it!

Hannah, we love you SO MUCH!!!

You have brought so much love and joy into our lives.

You are such a precious blessing to your papa and me.

When you were born you made us GRANDPARENTS

and our lives will never ever be the same!
