Today the girls came over for the entire afternoon.
Sarah was asleep when she arrived which was probably a good thing.
It allowed Hannah to get settled in and have lunch (in peace)
and I got Sarah's lunch ready for her for when she woke up.
She slept about an hour, and then the siren sounded :0(
She opened her eyes and looked all around,
and when her mama wasn't in sight the wailing began!
Hannah immediately ran to her sister to calm her
but it wasn't working.
I encouraged Hannah to let me try to calm Sarah, so Hannah went upstairs (her choice)
to her room (use to be her daddy's room)
and I took Sarah out of her carrier, put her in the highchair,
and tried to feed her lunch which was now past due.
She wasn't too eager to eat - she just wanted to cry
but I coaxed her to eat a little and then I got her down
put her on the floor with some toys, put on some music (which she loves)
and sat down beside her.
She started playing and was happy to have me nearby,
but was also happy that I was letting her do her own thing.
This is how things went down
Hannah showed up wearing almost the same thing as me
a white shirt and brown shorts
I introduced Sarah to crackers
Papa came home early and brought a project for him and Hannah to do
they made the school bus that Hannah is holding :0)
Wished I would have caught a picture of Sarah and me on the front porch swing.
But it will take a bit more time for that...
You should have seen her face light up when her mama arrived!
Love you Hannah and Sarah!
