We were gone practically all day yesterday.
Went to a picnic for a trade association we belong to.
It was 60 miles from our home.
We had a great time, but it was very hot and muggy
so I was glad to hit the shower when we got home.
Why is it that a shower can totally revive you when you've had a long, hot day?

(hmmm, she has one of the lockets, too, a gift from her husband for Mother's Day)
Came upon this street on our way home and thought it was SO pretty!
Anyway, after my refreshing shower last night I got some things lined up
which I delivered today after church
and we also went to the grocery store.
Then came home, cleaned up after Milli, put up the groceries,
make some breakfast (for lunch),
cleaned up from that,
put on some comfy clothes and then put on a movie.
Manny was already asleep.
The power went off for about 45 minutes for no good reason.
Just now finished up dinner and the clean-up from that
and now I'll go finish that movie.
We got to see the kiddos at church today.
Got to hold Ethan during worship,
stole a hug from Sarah who was a bit resistant but I didn't care,
and we got to see Hannah sing with the Children's Church kids,
(Hannah is behind the young man with the red shirt and tie)
