Pretty Feet

Today Momma and I went to get pedicures.
We go about every six weeks and we've been doing this for about ten years now.
It's one thing we do to pamper ourselves and we love it!
We've been going to the same place, too. They are very good and very clean,
and they have multiple chairs so that we can get our feet done at the same time.
For one hour we are pampered (and for a modest price, I might add)
and believe it or not, it will usually last about six weeks.
Not so with our hands :0(
We were going to another salon owned by a friend of mine to get our nails done.
She did an excellent job and is such a sweet gal.
Momma and I went every two weeks for quite a while,
but then my schedule got kind of crazy and it was harder and harder to make it in.
I am brutal with my hands.
I seem to always have them in water, washing this or that
and my nails refuse to grow.
I miss seeing my friend every two weeks, but we keep in touch through Facebook.
I would love to have pretty hands and nails all the time.
I even tried the acrylic nails for about six months, but it just wasn't for me :0(

Here is a picture of our feet

My mom has a signature color...it's a shade of purple.
It doesn't look good on me, I tried it once
but it looks fabulous on my mom!
Everywhere she goes people notice her toes, lol.
When she had surgery a few years ago to replace a bad hip
the doctors and nurses went crazy over her toes.
They got the biggest kick out of it.
I had always heard when you have surgery they are suppose to remove nail polish
so they can check your circulation - but they didn't touch my mom's toes.
They said they were too pretty to mess up :0)

Have you ever gotten a pedicure?
If you never have...you should really think about it.
