I woke up today to scenes on the TV of what happened 11 years ago.
Who could forget that day when almost 3,000 people lost their lives?
We hung our American Flag outside
and while I was home I saw post after post come across Facebook
of people remembering that day with pictures and prayers.
I listened on TV as they read the names of those who had died...
Family, Friends, Co-workers, Firemen, Policemen, Government Workers.
I suppose it will never make sense to us,
but I do believe it made us stronger - as a Nation.
Father God, please be with those whose lives were forever changed on that tragic day.
And be with those who serve our nation - keeping us safe and protecting our freedom!
