Today is Sunday and for me that means REST - for the most part, anyway.
It's the one day of the week where the pace is slower on purpose and that's ok.
Here is what the dictionary has to say about it:
Sab·bath
[sab-uhth] Show IPA
1.
the seventh day of the week, Saturday, as the day of restand religious observance among Jews and some Christians.Ex. 20:8–11.
2.
the first day of the week, Sunday, similarly observed bymost Christians in commemoration of the Resurrection of Christ.
3.
any special day of prayer or rest resembling the Sabbath:Friday is the Muslim Sabbath.
4.
( sometimes lowercase ) a period of rest.
Some would argue that the Sabbath is on Saturday and it originally was.
I personally don't think it matters
as long as you take at least one day a week to rest and regroup.
What does the Sabbath mean to you?
Write and tell me.
