Today started out as a typical Monday - crazy.
What is it about Monday's anyway?
Sometimes I feel that there aren't enough hours in the day
but I've always said, if there were more, there'd just be more to do.
Anyway, the day went fast enough...too fast maybe.
I've been watching Milli a lot lately. She seems to be getting older by the minute.
I've been watching Milli a lot lately. She seems to be getting older by the minute.
She will stand by the door beckoning to go every half hour.
I think she forgets she has just recently been out,
but I realize it could be worse, she could think she's outside when she's not.
You know what I mean.
Sometimes she just stares into space.
I never knew dogs could get dementia but trust me, they can.
Milli exhibits most of the symptoms listed on that website,
but even so, I love her, and she seems to be happy.
She eats, sleeps, and goes potty (mostly outside)
and she doesn't seem to be in any pain.
So I treat her as if she were young again, and maybe I can convince her she is.
I've told her plenty of times she's not allowed to die
and being the faithful canine friend she's always been,
she's trying her best to heed my command :0)
This is my sweet girl
oh how I love her :0)
But, despite my concerns over Milli today
and my frustration over not being as productive as I could have been
I searched for a happy thought to brighten the day
and I didn't have to look very far.
There on the fridge was a bright ray of sunshine
a hand-written expression of love
from our sweet Hannah Beth given to us just two days ago...
Thank you sweet Hannah. We love you, too :0)
