This morning I woke up from a very strange dream.
I've heard they are suppose to have meaning
although I certainly couldn't tell you what mine was.
It involved my father and my oldest sister (both in Heaven now) and me.
I was driving my little Kia Soul
on a very narrow, steep mountain road
obviously not meant to be driven on (not sure what that meant).
Btw, if you are an interpreter of dreams, I'm not sure I want to know :0l
When I realized I was traveling where I shouldn't have been I stopped and got out.
The next thing I knew, I was waking up (in my dream) having escaped certain death
but I was distressed about something, and walked into another room
to find my sister lying on her stomach with her head resting on her arms
(as if watching TV) and I told her I needed to talk to her.
We went into another room but then our conversation faded as I woke up.
They say everyone dreams
but I rarely remember mine or even that I've been dreaming at all,
so the fact that I remember these details was surprising to me.
I've haven't talked about my sister or my dad yet (in my blog)
but they were both very important in my life and I loved them dearly.
I believe that when they left this earth they went straight into the arms of God
and I also believe I will see them again.
Do you believe that Heaven is a real place?
I saw this video the other day...have you heard of this little boy's story:
I've always believed that, when you dream of a loved one who has passed, it's a "visit from that loved one" and I cherish my dreams of my mother and two late husbands. I hadn't dreamt about Gene (my first late husband) for quite a few years then, almost 40 years after his death, there he was ... sitting at his mother's dinning room table in Grand Forks, ND and I asked him "where have you been" and he answered "I've been right here all this time". I do believe.
