Today is dedicated to my newest grandchild, Sarah Anne.
Sarah is three months old today.
She is my oldest son's second daughter. She is Hannah's sister :0)
This pic was taken shortly after she was born
These are pictures of Hannah
seeing her baby sister for the first time
This picture shows Hannah overcome with emotion
This picture is so precious to me! I wonder what she was saying to her daddy?
Here I am holding sweet Sarah Anne for the first time
Here's a picture of Sarah on her first trip home
This beautiful picture was taken when Sarah was just ten days old.
She attended a family wedding with her beautiful mother and sister.
Here Sarah is with two of her
Great-Grandmothers
Manny's mother on the left
my mother on the right.
Sarah was dedicated to the Lord on May 27th
Here she is being prayed for and held by her maternal grandfather
who is a Minister of the Gospel
Those joining the ceremony were her Maternal Great-Grandfather (far right, blue shirt)
and her Great-Uncle (far left, blue jacket), both ministers as well,
along with other family members.
For those who might be reading this blog and don't quite understand what a baby dedication is
it is a Christian ceremony where the parents recognize that the baby is a gift from God
and promise to raise him/her up in the ways of the Lord.
After the ceremony our families celebrated with lunch and CAKE
Yes, Ethan's name is on here, too, because he was also dedicated on this day.
What an incredible double blessing as a grandparent to celebrate such an awesome occasion!!!
Here is sweet Sarah all dressed up for the occasion
She was all tuckered out from the ceremony
When my sister came for a visit last week she got to see and hold Sarah
Here's a recent picture of Sarah
going for a ride in the car...
I just LOVE those little pink shoes!!!
Sarah is growing like a weed, but she's still very young so she doesn't venture too far from home
and I haven't had as many opportunities to write about her.
So today, Sweet Sarah Anne, is all about YOU!
Grandma Dee loves you more than you will ever know :0)
